At 4 months old everything is a toy! Even the potty pad is going to be fun to chew up
I remember when Suzi would grab a hold of hers and run away with it ! She was a little stinker ! Noq she is fully trained a uses the pads all the time .
I agree with Anne, PAtience and consistency are the most important key factors in potty training.
