I'm so sorry to hear about Bridgett needing a knee replacement surgery.

At least your vet is cautious. Before her surgery just do every test imaginable to make sure she will be fine (blood, bile acid, EKG (for any heart irregularities). Then insist on the
Sevoflurane gas anesthesia. It is the safest, used for pediatric surgeries. My prayers are with you and Bridgett and yo go through this. Please keep me posted on her.
