Had I let them put her under anesthetic for a spay when she was scheduled, I don't think she would have made it due to how these liver shunt babies process anesthetic with their damaged livers. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting your story....as painful as it must have been and as heartbroken as you must be, please know the good that you have done. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief, but you will have my eternal gratitude for sharing and giving my Lola the chance that you have given her!
