If I were you, I would take Jackson to the vet. Especially if he as bleeding. Because he could get an infection from the injury sustained from the bite. This is what I would be most concerned about. The vet needs to look at his tooth to make certain it was not loosened from the attack. I would be certainly under the safe side of things/because a bite is not something to take lightly.
I am glad you were comfortable to text the son of the owner. After taking Jackson to your vet , Perhaps your parents can become involved in speaking to the owners further and have them put up the vet bill for their agressive lab who was on YOUR property when the incident occured. Take pictures of Jackson's injury as further evidence of his injury. Please take him to your vet, for his well being and health.
