Hi, I have two yorkies (Lola 19 months and Jojo (almost 5). Jojo is quiet as ever. You wouldn't even know there was a dog in the house. He played "Toto" in our community production of the Wizard of Oz. People asked if we gave him tranquilizers....that's how docile he is. Lola on the other hand....she's a barker. Not for no reason but anything in the back yard, the door, any sudden noises, you name it! I think it's just the different personalities. I will say though that Lola has settled down substantially as she grows up and expecially since she became a Mom last month. Good Luck
