She did not say from a pet store....she said for "the dreaded store." Then she clarifies in post #15 of this thread..."The dreaded store is a puppy mill!" So, she rescued the little one by buying him from the puppy mill which she also calls "the dreaded store."

From what I understand in her posts, the "store" wants to gie her another puppy and she still keeps Yoda. She thinks they want her to sell the new puppy to pay off the vet bills. She is contacting her attorney.

Not sure if the vet explained about disinfecting the house but several have mentioned that to her. Cannot imagine that a vet would let a dog still sick with parvo come home without the information. But as I understand it, he does still have parvo. They are in the midst of trying to clear it.

Hope ths helps -- and to the OP -- wish your little one well! I hope the mill comes through and pays another bill for you. You have your hands full girl -- praying for you both!

No I did see post #15 and then that is when I got really confused and did a search to try and figure it out. I am totally not trying to start an problems.
To the OPer~did you go to a breeder and found it was a puppymill when you got there? If Yoda came from a puppymill/"breeder" and they are offering you a second puppy that one probably has it as well!

Then you could become liable for vet bills fi you were to sell it!
But the second puppy on May 15th from a thread that was posted a while back which I believe is a different puppy than the free one that is now being offered to her because Yoda is sick. She stated that she already had Yoda and was planning on bring a Princess home on May 15th. I was concerned for this puppy as well because of PARVO being so contagious.
It sounds like you are taking great care of Yoda and on the right track by contacting an attorney.

I wish you lots of luck with both Yoda and your legal battles.
