I know of an instance when the dog's tags got caught in the heat vent. The owner was there but it is scary..I do not use any collars and rarely harnesses. BUT, I do recommend a harness and leash in the car. In case of incident, the dog can be protected from getting away in traffic. ALSO, I ALWAYS have stickers on both doors that tell emergency workers that there are dogs (or cats) in the house. I used to put how many but decided that was not a good thing.. |
