Since most yorkies have to have some of the baby teeth pulled, I would wait until some of the permanent teeth came in, you don't want him toothless. Unless your vet specializes in small breeds, he may not be aware that Yorkies don't lose their teeth on their own. Since this has to be done under anesthesia, it's best to do it all at once. If not done, yorkies were develop a double row of teeth, that leads to bad breath because of food build-up in the crevices, and also loss of permanent teeth.
