I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet girl. I know when my Rocky died I did the same thing that you did, put everything away. Then there was a puppymill raid in my home town, and I saw the oppertunity to help. I gathered up everything, with the exceptions of a couple beds and blankets and one shirt that were for some reason or another special to me, and I took them in, allong with the money I had set aside for his neuter and I donated it in his name. This was so healing for me.

Then when I brought Maddie home she decided that she really liked one of the beds that I had kept, so I gave it to her. Copper gained a little weight since then, and now he wears Rocky's sweater when it is cold.

I still have his favorite blankets, one that he would move to wherever he was laying, and I held every night in place of him, for months. I want to do something special with that one, and I was thinking of having one of these made from itTeddy Bears by Creative Treasures from your special fabric or fur coat I am not sure if I am going to use this site or another but I would love a sweet little bear made from the remainder of his stuff to set next to his picture.

These are just a few ideas that have helped me, but follow your heart and what makes you feel better. I do agree that her things are doing no good in a box. Warmest wishes to you through this process. I know that it can be so very hard.
