Anyway, the only shot that the vet has to give is rabies. They could do that one on the day of the exam and have a tech give DHPP two weeks later without a vet appt. and you'd just pay for the vaccine itself. |
I give my babies their shots myself. I just do it early in the day, so if there is ever a problem, I can get them to the vet. There has never been a problem. We don't have an emergency vet clinic, my vet does have an emergency number to call, but luckily I've never had to use it yet. I take them to the vet yearly for an exam and to get their rabies vaccine.
