Thanks, this is all good info. I will check the roof of his mouth when I get home. All his toes are black and his nails are all black.

His mother was definitely a yorkie and I'm told the sire was a purebred stud named Gucci in the southern Arizona area. (Maybe someone is familiar with that breeder?) In lieu of a stud fee, the studowner requested the pick of the litter's females. I can't recall if the circumstances were that the only female in the litter died or that there were no females, but in absence of a female the studowner demanded $1500 from the breeder. They couldn't come to an agreement so the studowner refused to issue the papers. ??? (I don't know how all that works...but the whole point is that I bought him without papers and have no lineage on him as a result. I don't really care...he's my "Man in Black" no matter what!) My only regret is that I didn't get his brother at the same time I got him. They were both offered and I had to pick one. Johnny Cash has such amazing personality and we always comment that we wish we had also gotten his brother at the same time. We just weren't sure, at the time, that we were ready for two more!

I appreciate all the responses.
