I guess I'm not really following you, but I'm not sure I understand what "disqualification in the show ring" means in relation to my question. I'm not interested in breeding him or showing him. He's my family pet.
He's not really a puppy anymore. He's 2 1/2 years old. The pup pic is photoshopped and his hair is longer so the darker hair is growing over the white hair, so you can't really see it. The white has become more obvious as he's gotten older, with the covering from his breastbone up to his neck...on a 5lb dog, say a 1 3/4" W x 1 1/2" H patch.
Again, I don't have his papers or his lineage, so I don't know if he has parti or Biewer in his bloodline. If I knew that, I probably wouldn't be asking. I'm just curious, because I'm such a fan of Biewers, if the white hair remaining as an adult signifies that he might have the parti-gene.
