so i take it you have no emergency vets in the area? if you do, you should go there now to have them take care of it.
where exactly did he break the nail? is it close to the end, middle, or skin? can you take a clear picture?
If you can't get to a vet and do not what to touch it, you should lightly wrap the area. this will put pressure on to stop the bleeding and prevent him from licking the area. it can get infected if not treated.
