I have played the clarinet since I was in 4th grade. I was 10 years old. When I graduated in 1978 I worked 2 jobs and would take it out occassionally. Over the years my neices took lessons and I would help them. My clarinet was an antique when my parents got it for me in 5th grade. It's close to 75 y.o. Last year I bought a new brown clarinet, my old one was black. I got the music books from the 70's that I played in HS. Last year I bought an electric Organ that can play all the instruments and was trying to teach myself to play. My hubby who has no former training just plays by ear...I gave up and now it gets played for the Naturalization Day Luncheons that we have 5 times a year. There is no piano @ the Luncheon, So, we us mine. Maybe I'll start up again. I've always wanted to play the piano or organ...I just need to get motivated again!!
