All do respect... she is your mother, I would expect you to defend her. Maybe defend is not the right word, but you know what I mean. Second, not sharing that information is another red flag! If I'm buying a puppy, I want to know how many litters the mother has had. That is very important info for a possible buyer and something that the breeder should have NO problem giving! What age did the dog have it's first litter and so on... Anyone who does their homework before buying is going into this informed and that's 1 of the things you should be looking for in a good forever home. Also... breeding to produce "teacup, mini or pocket pups" is also something to beware of! These dogs more often then not have major health issues and something a good breeder would not do!
