I received an email form one of my customers that has a few of my yorkies. They are 3 years old now and she has been having problems with one of their ears and took him to a specialist in Bethesda Maryland. They did a biopsy and said it is an auto-immune disease that affects the layer of skin
above the cartalidge on the ear-"granulomatous dermatitis". They also said it could be treated with non steroid meds and is rare but another yorkie came in a week later with the same problem. Could this possible be the same thing. I would love to no about using Vick's on the ear. I no it helps for mosquito bites so maybe it will help just with the itching. |
