I am not infavor of it, but understand why it is done. I have had 3 who were debarked....one wind up with a hoarse sound, the other two could bark but they sounded like they were in the back yard barking instead of in the house.
I solved my problem by breeding from Yorkies who rarely barked and placing the loud mouth, trouble makers as pets...they do well not being in groups..which tended to make mine worse. They liked to indulge in competive bark offs. |
