Default De-Barking

hey y'all~~
we bought Maxwell when he was about 3.5 years old. he came to us de-barked. in other words, his vocal chords had been cut so he makes no sound when he tries to bark.

because of this i have to be very careful should Max get out of our fence. frankly, i fear for his life if he should ever need help and try to cry-out or bark.

Max healed well from this surgery and has no problem eating, drinking or breathing.

has anyone else tried this method on their doggies? and what has been your experience?
