My puppy was threw up 5 times on the long drive home from the breeders. She was also very quiet and would not eat when we got home. I called my breeder and she told me to give her a small amount of karo syrup. I put it on my finger and put it in her mouth. She also suggested to give her steamed shredded chicken breast mixed with small curd cottage cheese. The karo syrup kicked in and she did eat a bit of the chicken/cottage cheese mixture. I was happy with anything! It took her a few days to adjust to her new home and now she's very spunky - and the boss!
