Hi guys - I'm still struggling as to how I should potty train my new puppy (he arrives in 3 days so I'm basically freaking out).

Now I'm thinking about indoor training, and I have a few questions. I understand setting up the area in a small enough place for a bed and his pee pad...but:

***Where does he sleep at night? Should he sleep in that area? Or in a crate next to my bed? Will putting him in the crate be confusing to him because he's only in it at night? And then should I just wait for him to whine during the night...and take him to his potty area when this happens?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks again for everyone's answers to my other questions on these forums - you guys are great!
