Well mine don't seem to mind the chlorine and it didn't seem to hurt them. Actually my Dexter drinks the water constantly so I really need to watch him. BF chlorinates as minimally as he can because of Dexter's drinking. I am always yelling at him to stop drinking the water! I would think Public pools use a lot of chlorine and most public pools probably don't allow dogs in them. I usually rinse them off with the hose and brush them out when the swimming day is done! They tend to mat up with the lifejackets on all day.
