In this letter I would also tell him that you feel he has been irresponsible in the care that he has given you (Harley) and that if you cannot resolve this at this level that you will be going to the Vet. board of Directors or whomever is the governing body of vets. Try not to be accusatory but very matter of fact. Reinterate all the clients that you have referred to him, remind him that word of mouth is a very strong tool in advertising. It works both ways.
I would make sure that I have the paperwork from the emergency clinic and a log of when you tried to call his office and who you spoke with, etc. Put the ball in his court and give him a timeframe as to when you want him to respond, then follow thru. Good luck. Man this really is not right.  |
