I just read stormys story and cried. I have two friends who each lost yorkies (littermates) to necrotizing encephalitis. NE is very fast progressing whereas GME is slower. I have an online friend whose yorkie, bella, was diagnosed with GME in October. I do know of dogs that have survived it. It's such an aweful and heartbreaking disease. I'm so sorry about your baby
