I think vinegar neutralizes odors that dogs can smell but we can not?

Maybe pup-pup is attracted to rug cleaner they used. If there was any type of ammonia based chemical in the cleaner/disinfectant in the product they used - that might explain it. To dogs ammonia = urine = pee here please.

Maybe try a mix of 2 parts vinegar and 1 part water in a misting spray bottle and lightly mist your carpets. They also sell some neutralizing sprays in pet stores too.
