I understand your trepidation; however, I visited the kennels, and they were very clean. There was another couple who came that day, and felt the same. Although this couple now just acts as brokers, that fact that the two Yorkies from whom our Graysee was chosen let the pups live in their home, along with their own dogs, rather than out in the kennels, let me feel safe that our purchase was from a reasonably "reputable" breeder. My uncle used to raise and show Cocker Spaniels, so I have some feel as to what might be a "puppy mill", and this certainly is not that! Anyway, Graysee is now fifteen months old, is healthy and well-trained, and a real joy to have. I'd go back there again for another, if we ever felt so inclined. |
