Still not sure if you are registered in a right class since your dog is a bit older than 18 Months old, but on other the other hand is “Novice Dogs” the same as 12 to 18 Months (old) Dogs?

Here are the qualifications for a dog to be shown in the novice class:
Novice - dogs that have never won a blue ribbon in any of the other classes, or have won fewer than three first place ribbons in the Novice class
Scooter was a novice when he was shown the first weekend. Since he won points that weekend then he did not qualify for the novice class but the entries were already submitted for the following weekend. I really don't know if in a case like that you would have to ask to be moved to a different class. Maybe someone else can answer that.
