I have a 3 yr old yorkie, our daughter had a baby boy 7 months ago and roxie (the dog) hates Tristan (the baby).We tryed all the smelling the new baby blanket , letting roxie smell the baby, having a tape recording of tristan crying, beleive me we have done it all!! Roxie has nipped at the baby more than once, not drawing blood just leaving red marks, but believe if she was given the chance she would bite him. We are all stressed out, we have to put roxie in the garage when the baby is here and listen to her bark and jump at the door for hours,plus the baby is starting to be on the floor and crawl and roxie just has a fit. We keep thinking it has to get better but it is not. What to do???? Roxie is like our baby but tristan doesn't deserve to be bitten and everyone is so stressed by the time they leave. They live about 45 min away from us so they will spend the nite and we are exhausted by the time they leave.Anyone have any suggesions??
