Rosey, using the situation as a training opportunity is a great idea. Just telling them that the standard says.... "
The fall on the head is long, tied with one bow in center of head or parted in the middle and tied with two bows" would be enough. But some might prefer the more utilitarian explanation of keeping the hair out of their eyes. And you're right again, blaming it on the groomer could be fun.
Mostly, we just can't take the comments too seriously. We know!
