Everyone often mistakes my boys as girls too...sometimes I go along with it...other times I just smile and say they are all boys...and joke about them not being able to tell with the "manly" bows they are wearing..... sometimes I explain that Yorkies often top knots...depends on my mood...
I try not to get too bothered by it...I have all male dogs...so unless a dog is in pink I often refer to their dogs as boys...so I guess others could get upset by me too :-)
