When I spoke with a trainer...about one of my dogs who was having some dominance issues... he said that I just needed to make sure that I was sleeping above my dog, when it came to the bed... I had been putting my dog on a pillow above my head...I thought he would be safest there...but the trainer said the pack leader sleeps at the top and to make sure my dog was below me and there would be no issue...so I moved him to a little lower than my head...near my waist and no issues since...
Now I have 5 in the bed :-)
