I am so glad that you will
not be going back in the future. It is sad to say that because of irresponsible people dog parks are really one place that I stay away from with mine.
Not to mention the fact the stories about pups picking up diseases at the parks too! Let's not forget the dreaded Petsmart and Petco
When we go to the stores I always make mine stay inside the shopping cart on a blanket. Just think about all those that pick up their new puppy from the petshop and then stop for supplies on the way home! SCARY!!!!!
*As a total side note about Petsmart~years ago when my son was little maybe 5 yrs old~we were in Petsmart and there was a Doberman with its owners and my son thought he was playing with it just as he played with my sister Dobie. The dog lunged at him! I nearly had a heartache right there in the store! The owners blamed my son but I am sorry but if you have a pet with even the slightest aggressive behavior it is your responsiblity to keep it under your control. It is not an excuse that YOUR dog attacked because of someone elses actions ie a 5 yr old thinking he was playing. Just not cool!
