Hello and welcome. We keep Oscar (1 and 1/2 year old Yorkie) cut in what's called a puppy cut. We would like to keep it longer, but he makes it impossible as he is super active and constantly playing outside, he comes in with all kinds of fun stuff stuck in his hair (leaves, twigs, you name it.)
Oscar's ears never stood up either. We thought about taping them, but decided against it because he is just so darn cute with his big floppy ears. Unless you are going to show her, you don't have to tape her ears unless that's what you prefer. I would talk to your vet or groomer before doing so to make sure you do it right.
