when Remy had her surgery the vet said NO baths until all the stitches are out ( she had the kind of stitches that have to be removed by the vet). When the stitches were taken out ( about 14 days) the vet said if I could hold off on giving a bath for a couple more days it would give the little holes in the skin (from the stitches) a chance to close up.
