My Noelle is exactly the same way! And I love it!
She follows me everywhere but there is one time I wish she would find something else to do: When I decide to relax in a nice bubble bath with the jets on and just lie back, she isn't able to see me(she's too short) I don't know whether she thinks I disappeared or what has happened to me but it is one of the seldom times she barks. I poke my head up and say, "it's ok, I'm right here" but when I lay back down on my bath pillow she starts all over again. I have to get my husband to come and get her or cut my bath super short.
But other than that, I adore my little shadow.
