Yep, saw this on another fourm and I feel strongly as you do. Why the need to give the title to ones self as a Show Breeder. I do not know anyone that calls themself a show breeder. All the show/exhibitors I know, breed for themself. Reputation is everything here. So no need to give titles. I would question the one trying to give themself this title. Reputable people will always tell you that they are learning all the time. And with our breed - you will be learning new things all the time.
I also want to add - that I do not think this is right either when someone is selling a "show prospect/show quality" dog without themself having their own champion. Whether it was one they bought and finished or one that was from their own breeding and finished. I see this all the time though. One can go to all the shows in the world with their dog/s, but if they are not winning what do they have. Are they blind sided. If so how will they judge their own pups.
