I am sorry that your cousin's wife is so selfish and causing a huge family issue over this. Boy, talk about a drama queen. She needs to be happy with the puppy she chose to purchase and work on training it. How selfish of her to say that your boy was for her daughter, but She has always wanted two puppies at once. But the daughter is going to be responsible for both. Is the daughter raising the mom here?
I'm so glad you were able to stand up for your beliefs! As for Easter dinner, don't be so upset over it. Look at it your doing the right thing and since they don't understand maybe you not being there will get them to think about your side of this. I will advise you that if your children do go that you ask them to wash their hands after petting that puppy as if it does have parvo they can spread it to you puppy, or like someone else who's puppy had it on here before learned the children can catch it too.
Keep your chin up, the family will understand someday and regret interfering. |
