There is a lot to be said (and researched) about dog food. I know of dogs that have been on what people here would consider the worst foods and have lived long, healthy lives. I feed Tatum Wellness Core. I think it's easier to afford a better food when you're feeding a small dog (at least for me
). I try to feed our large outside dog a decent food but she doesn't get as great of one as Tatum does. That said, my toy poodle was raised on Science Diet (and had prescription ones as he got older) and he lived a wonderful 15 years.
