I am with you on this one. She chose to buy a puppy from a pet store knowing that she was going to have a puppy from you, however did it anyway. Now you can choose not to give her the puppy . She was the one who went out and bought a puppy after telling you she wanted one from you. This is not your doing. It was hers. So it is not your fault. By getting a puppy from the puppy store, this allowed you to go back on your word, and say no to her. A two bedroom apartment with no yard is too small for two little puppies, especially if this is a first time owner. It is hard enough to handle one puppy, let alone two. Especially when they both work. The teething stage that puppies go through is very difficult where they chew , and chew and chew some more! You are doing the right thing!
She will get over it! Your doing what is bet for your puppy and that is the most important thing you can do . She is not seing it this way, however you are. And that is what matters. I am sorry your easter is ruined over a family squable over puppies, but these are little living lives . They need the best care possible. People just don't take that into consideration , and i am glad that you do.
