I would not advise letting Charlie play with him/her. I hatched some chicks in the house once because I wanted them to imprint on me i.e. I would be their mother. Well it worked and the chicks were happy and I was happy and Chattie was NOT happy. I thought I had the chicks safely tucked away in on the counter in a box tall enough that they couldn't flutter out. Well, I was wrong and when I went to check on the commotion I found Chattie and Chickie in the chair - Chattie's chickie "squeaky toy" was no longer squeaking. It broke my heart, but I understood then and now that Yorkies are hunters and they will kill. |
