Default Night time potty pads

One of my Yorkies(RIP Buddy) had renal disease and for several years before he died, frequently had to potty during the night. He had been paper trained as a baby puppy and it didn't take much to remind him all about those pads to potty on. I was able to teach him to potty on the paper at night so I could sleep. I do have a fenced yard, so letting him out wasn't the problem;it was the interrupted sleep several times each night to do so.
He was such a sweet thing; he knew how to bark at the sink if his water bowl ever got empty! And he learned to potty on the paper at night so he didn't have to wake mama. He still did fine with going potty outside and always preferred that in the day when I was home. He would use the pads when I was at work. He would soak those pads due to his kidney failure(he couldn't concentrate his urine and had to drink water at night. I sure do miss him, even with all his problems. Anyway, the pads aren't glamorous but may work for you.
