Jackson did the same thing for a good 2-3 weeks!! It was awful. He was in his crate to begin with and he would just whine and BARK obnoxiously. So I bought a harness that buckles into the seatbelt, he STILL whined and barked. He just does not like confinement, it's one of his downfalls, lol. He's so good at everything else. Finally after a few weeks of driving 2 times a week on a 45 minute drive, he just began getting used to. Now he just sits in the back seat (not buckled in.. I know! I plan on getting him used to a doggie car seat) and sniffs out the window I leave cracked for him. He's totally an angel now in the car. It took a little over a month though. |
