 Yorkies and Hawks
I always take Tucker out with a harness and a leash. He weighs 3.7 lbs. We were going to be gone all day on Saturday. A friend of mine offered to keep him. I put his harness on , and gave her the leash when she picked him up. They let him run around without the leash in their back yard. They have two hawks that hang around . I know they meant well, and just wanted him to have fun. The husband said the hawks would not come around with them standing in the back yard. I know hawks can swoop down , and grab something in a split second. My question is this: how much does the dog need to weigh before the hawks and other predators won't pick them up. It really scared me when they told me about it. |
