Don't think for a moment that Toby doesn't love you!!!!! Just because he gets excited over other people does NOT mean he doesn't love you!!!

My Daizy was the VERY SAME WAY!!! She'd prefer to snuggle up on the top of the sofa...far away from me....She'd get so excited when she saw strangers..(she still does).... I would have to MAKE her give me a kiss!! (I STILL HAVE TO make her even now...but she gives them way more easily... when there is something she wants)

She NEVER gave me kisses...so I started training her to give me kisses...because I NEEDED kisses to reasure myself she loved me...even tho now I am certain she ALWAYS did!!!

So I'd make her give me kisses for treats...chewies..toys etc...I'd hold it close to my face...and say KISS...and finally she'd kiss me...and I'd give it to her...I could see she absolutely HATED doing it...lol but she would give in...now she kisses me alot....ONLY when she wants something...lol I really think that some yorkies are just not real big LOVERS!!!!

Now she's older...15 months old....and we have brought home Tulip several months ago...Daizy has become a MAJOR snuggler...she will lay right beside me every chance she gets....and she even climbs into my lap!!! Which she NEVER EVER did before!! lol Oh she'd climb into my son's lap...he was the ONLY person she ever did that to....but now she's become more of a lap dog.

So don't become depressed...and think he will ALWAYS be like that...he's young...and he has alot of things on his mind...lol

As he gets older he may start laying closer to you...or he may not...but one thing you should never think...is that he doesn't LOVE you...Some just have different ways of showing it!!! Hugs!
