Hi Tammy -- welcome to Yorkietalk and the wonderful world of Yorkie ownership (although it is often debatable as to who owns who) What food was she on at the breeders? Sometimes they do not like to change food all of a sudden and you have to mix them, adding the new one 25%, 50%, 75% and then all the new food.

You might try a different puppy food. Innova has tiny little triangular kibble with a hole in the middle, making it easy for tiny mouths to bite. Royal Canin has a softer puppy kibble, also a triangular shape.

The smaller pet shops will have samples out that you can try. That helps a lot in finding one your puppy will like. I find that they all like canned food and will take it over the hard kibble most of the time. You may have to stop offering the canned to get yours to eat the dry. You can dampen the dry kibble for a few days to help get her interested. Good luck!
