Piper is the most affectionate dog I ever owned. She follows you from room to room. If you sit down she wants to be in your lap (even in the bathroom). She goes from my lap to my shoulder and snuggles into my neck. She gives you so many kisses you can't breathe. When you come home even if you have been gone for only 5 minutes she nearly wiggles out of her skin she is sooooo excited to see you. I don't think she would be a protector she just loves everyone.
