Hmmm... Thor is definitely on the attached side. Sometimes we struggle when I pick him up for bed because he is so determined to get his belly rubbed. No matter how I go at him, he always manages to flip over on his back.

When we go to bed, he usually starts at the foot of the bed and then works his way up to the small of my back during the night, usually just at the moment that I want to turn over.

Sometimes he wants to sit so he's touching me, but at the moment, he's on the other side of the couch where his super-comfy bed is.

It's definitely nice to know you're loved, but there are some benefits to what you have too. Thor's version of guarding is to go berserk any time someone gets near the passenger side window of the car. Examples would be: I've stopped to ask for directions, or need to get gas, or I'm at an intersection with pedestrians.

He's very friendly with people, and I love it. He'll run up to greet just about anybody, and if they show him one iota of attention, forget it. He's theirs for life. I take him to work with me, and I have to stop by every single person's cubicle so he can say hi.

He's also pretty chill if I leave him and come back, which I like, because I know he can take care of himself.

It would be really nice if he weren't so touchy around other dogs. We're working on that. Anyways, maybe it's a case of greener grass on the other side of the fence?
