I was a vet tech for 7 yrs, and I assisted with neuters and spays every day of the week. Neutering is such an easy surgery that he will be fine. When Fiona got spayed I was a nervous wreck too, but make sure you get bloodwork done prior so they can make sure he is alright. He will do fine!
