it's tough- i think holistic is good- but i mean sometimes you just need antibiotics

Maybe you just need a vet who is more open minded- i mean you are paying GOOD money for this person to look after your dog and you don't want to be paying someone who is trying to convince you you aren't doing a good job with your boy. When i switched to Layla's vet (because our oringinal vet did not support home cooking OR less vaccination and i wasn't paying him to make me feel bad) I told her about the things that were important to me and WHY they were important.. and she said she was willing to give it a go.
When Layla was diagnoised with pancreatitis her vet wantd her on a prescription canned food (Which i call canned crap) and i told her i just couldn't do it- i HAD to give it a go with home cooking- i consulted a nutrionist and Layla's blood tests now come back PERFECT_ you have to stick to what you believe in. Her vet said it wasn't possible on a home cooked diet and voila- look who was right

ME
