Layla used to be fine with thunderstorms- but not anymore- we had a doosy of a storm last night- but she was in her crate (it was bedtime) and was fine. Usually just the thunder bothers her but if the rain is intense on the windows (we have a sky light which does not help at all) that will upset her too- I usually put her in her crate where she feels very safe - i also cover the crate with a blanket to give her more of a den like feeling. I've read that dogs like to be in the bathtub during storms but i forget why....
