If I lost half my income I'd lose my house. My house payments are just about 1/2 my income by themselves. Sad huh?
Right now my company has made everyone take 1 week off unpaid in Q2, and more than likely we have to do it again in Q3. That hurts alot. It reduces my paychecks by about $120 every 2 weeks. I, too, was not affected by the economy too much at all up until the last month when I found this out. Now I'll know whats its like to live on such a tight budget! YUCK! I thank my lucky stars every single day that I have a job to get up and go to!
